Your rungs beyond it are your points; the day's deepest gets 8 more, and each day in a row adds 1, up to 5. Matching the machine is worth nothing. Programs are re-run on fresh inputs; one that only fits the 8 tests is marked. Past days stay open in the archive, without points. The program comes from the first Ethereum block after midnight UTC, so nobody sees it early.
